SR2330 (v.10.3.5) Routing between interfaces
« on: March 25, 2014, 02:14:29 PM »

Presently the SR2330 is setup with the WAN on eth0/1 and my office's LAN on eth0/6.  Setting up the networks and firewall policies for network address translation is fine (RDC and access to VPN Gateway).   Presently I've tried setting up a DMZ on eth0/3 and policies allowing FTP from the LAN to the DMZ but I'm not successful.   Any suggestions on my placement of policies?  NAT rules higher and access lower?  Maybe I'm going down the wrong path.

In every router I have worked with NAT rules are processed first.  But you should only need NAT when your traffic is going out to the Internet or coming in to the server from the Internet.  Do you have some sort of routing protocol running on the internal LAN and in the DMZ to allow the two to talk to each other?
