Call Server Backup with Element Manager

Hi All,

I need some help about call server backup with Element Manager.
Iīve configured a rule with FTP SERVER and everything looks fine until this error message:

Manual Backup according to rule failed!

The server put in the destination folder the file bkdata.tmp.

Hi cesar.luque.alonso,

Have you tried using a Sniffer (Wireshark) to see if everything is Ok?  You might see an error that will point you in the right direction?

It looks like the FTP user account you've provided doesn't have the proper rights to delete files from the FTP server.

You should setup a separate directory for the backup, just don't drop it into any old directory.

Thanks for your help!  The problem was the ftp software...... >:(

Fail with freeftpD and it works fine with Fillezilla Server. I donīt know the reason but itīs ok.
