[Solved] Avaya 1230 SIP fw 4.4 issue

Hi All,

i have upgraded Avaya 1230 to sip 4.4 and tried to register with CUCM 9.1 the phone got registered but was in  license evaluation mode, on digging the issue we found that the SIP_TLS was getting activated by CUCM. The Cisco TAC disabled the TLS on there side now the phone is working but on the display its showing license status as TOKEN RELEASED and the phone is still in evaluation mode, although all the license featured are disabled. Can some let me know what i missed. :(

Did further troubleshooting and found that the phone is sending SIP_PING to CUCM which is not replying to those msgs so disabled SIP_PING from device settings file.

Now the phone is status is License No request but still the evaluation timer is reducing, any one has any idea what will happen when the counter reaches 0 as i am not using any license feature so the phone will work or it will stop.
