Avaya 11xx - request-uri specifies unwanted host
« on: July 10, 2017, 04:57:18 AM »
Greetings, everybody.

Need help with configuring Avaya 11xx phones.
I have several IP phones including Siemens, Avaya and softphones working via SIP. Provisioning server is mine, SIP server is at provider's side. Siemens and softphones work w/o problems. Avaya can register at server and make outbound call to any party, but when somebody tries to dial it - receives Error 404.
Internal error is "request-uri specifies unwanted host".
How to tell the phone that this host is ok to respond?

Currently i'm working with Avaya 1120e, fw 4.4.29.
Part of config and phone's debug log are attached. Sorry, site do not allow to put it inline.

Sincerely yours, Alexander Lifanov

This is likely an interoperability issue with the call server or soft switch you are using.

Strange for me because it's a phone answering with error, not a server:

SMC-0008] 13:43:37.970 ERROR] Net/sigma/SipUser.cpp(1173) : (wantRequest) >> request-uri specifies unwanted host:
proxy domain=n102.pbx.nltel.ru
local address=
external address=
expected proxy domain=[n102.pbx.nltel.ru]
expected local address=[]
expected ports: UDP=[5060] TCP=[5060] TLS=[0] publicPort=[1130]
SMC-0008] 13:43:37.970 ERROR] Net/sigma/SipRequestHandler.cpp(206) : (EvOnPacketReceived) >> user not found: 112

And i cannot imagine how to force phone refusing to answer via server config.
