Title: Avaya 1140E rings but no voice

Hi, I have a new remote location whose phones will ring and users can hear button presses but not voice. They are behind a Cisco switch and ASA. Also these phones IPs are statically assigned but yet the phone displays a 10.99.99.1 address when it should be 10.10.8.24. It even responds pings on the 10.10.8.24 address. QoS has been turned off on the interface and uplink to the ASA.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks in advance for any help!

Old topic, but maybe you can provide an update on the solution you might have found.  I'm having a similar issue.

Some details:

2 remote (home office) locations behind Cisco routers providing IPSec site to site VPN tunnels back to head office.

Phones calling head office can communicate correctly.

Phones calling remote location to other remote location, ring but have no voice
