1120e Firmware upgrade "broke" phone
« on: August 07, 2014, 12:54:24 AM »
I just did a TFTP firmware upgrade of an 1120e from a "Nortel" version (not sure what it was) to the latest Avaya version. It rebooted fine and noticed the TFTP server and seemed to take the latest firmware, however after applying the firmware when the 1120e reboots now all it does is flashes the old Nortel logo (not the word in the lower left) and then the screen goes blank, which to mean means that the firmware flash wasn't successful and now the phone is pretty much a brick. Does anyone know any way to remedy this - seeing as it won't bring up any menu systems or run a RAM/flash firmware? I've tried the reset key command and it doesn't work either (**73639[mac]##).  Thanks.
