VSP and LACP on Aruba Controller?
« on: June 21, 2017, 12:45:43 PM »
Hi! I have an Aruba 7210 controller, and two VSP-4850s. I would like to use the two copper ports on the Aruba 7210 controller to load balance/aggregate the links between the two VSP-4850s. This is the first time I've tried to do this with Aruba and Avaya.

Does anyone have any tips to make this work? I've played around with LACP and SMTL on both ends, but they never seem to work. We're on VOSS 6.0.1.1.

We only have one controller (an aged 3200M), but when I was testing trunking, I configured a static trunk on the controller and an SLT on the 5698's I was testing with.
It worked, but was eventually abandoned in favor of pushing for a second controller - which has yet to be approved, five years later.
