vLAN
« on: March 31, 2014, 04:10:48 AM »
Hello.

I have a Nortel 4500.

I want to configure a port as:

Unttagged vLAN 1 : default vLAN PVID1
Tagged vLAN 2
Tagged vLAN 3

I don't know how to configure the port ? When I Add the port in vLAN configuration and set it as vLAN 2 memember, the port seems to be unttaged in vLAN 2 and excluded from vLAN 1.

What is the righ way of dooing this ?

Thank you.

Thank you for the link.
But in the exemple each port is member of a single vLAN.

I need to untagged the port on vLAN 1 and tagged vLAN 2, on the same port.

Thanks

This are the needed commands to configure your setup:

conf t
vlan ports [Ports X] tagging unTagPvidOnly
vlan ports [Ports X] pvid 1
vlan members add  1 [Ports X]
vlan members add  2 [Ports X]
vlan members add  3 [Ports X]

Good Luck

Ok Thank you !

If I use a port in LACP configuration, I have also to configure two ports into a LACP.
I have to configure both ports only or LACP port only ?

Thanks.

You have to configure all ports that you want to trunk with LACP togehter equal.
So first make the same VLAN config for all LACP trunk ports, when you are done with that setup LACP.
