Using ADAC when connecting an Avaya phone to a PC
« on: April 24, 2016, 11:34:48 PM »
Hello,

I have just recently learnt of ADAC, and was curious how to implement it in tandem with having PCs connected as well. I am aware by default that ADAC will set a port with a phone connected to the PVID of the voice VLAN, but because I am using a data and auxiliary VLAN per port, I need to retain the data PVID and just automatically add the voice VLAN as a member. Will op-mode tagging do this? I don't want to default all of my dual connected ports to the voice PVID.

I have got this to work.

vlan create 1010 name data type port 1
vlan create 1020 name voice type voice-vlan
vlan port 1-8 pvid 1010
vlan mem 1010 1-8

interface eth all
lldp med-network-policies port 1-45 voice dscp 46 priority 6 tagging tagged vlan-id 1020

adac voice-vlan 1020
adac uplink-port 48
adac op-mode tagged-frames
adac enable

interface eth 1-45
adac enable

Works like a charm.
