Spanning tree

I have the following doubt. How do i enable spanning tree on specifi port.
I own an ava ers 4850

Do you have access to the web-GUI or do you have CLI access only? 

In the GUI it should be a matter of Edit -> Chassis -> Ports -> STG.  Then set your port(s) to what you want. 

CLI should follow this syntax:
[no] spanning-tree [port <portlist>] [stp <1-8>] [learning {disable | normal | fast}] [cost <1-65535>] [priority]

What type of port are you going to be running STP on?
