Title: Sessions per Second on a VSP9000
Post by: 7rrivera7 on September 28, 2018, 06:15:07 PM
I'm up for a technology refresh for my firewalls and I'd like to implement micro segmentation which means I'll be moving the routing function of various VLANs from m,y core routers to the new firewall platform. In order to correctly size the new boxes I need to calculate the inter-vlan traffic by sessions per second and all I can currently get is bandwidth utilization.

An alternative is to estimate this based on documented use of concurrent sessions per second per application but if there is a way to get this from my cores this would be much more accurate.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
