Phone and PC connected to same port different Vlan.
« on: September 01, 2016, 10:53:04 PM »
hi,

I know that this info has been supplied before but I just can't find it. I have 2 vlans,

Data = Vlan 100
Voice = Vlan 200

I have 23 ERS 4548GT-PWR and I need the steps to have the computer connected to the phone in the same port but different vlans.

thanks a lot !

Hi cbonora,

assumed, that ports 1-46 are access ports, 47-48 are uplinks, Vlan 100 untagged, Vlan 200 tagged:

conf t
vlan ports 1-46 tagging untagPVIDonly
vlan ports 47-48 tagging tagAll
vlan members 1 NONE
vlan member add 100,200 1-48
vlan ports 1-46 pvid 100
end

good luck

You'll find a full configuration walk-thru on my blog for the Avaya ERS 4800 series;

# ACLI:
conf t
vlan member 1/35,1/36 NONE
vlan port 1/35,1/36 tagging untagAll
vlan member add 2 36
vlan member add 3 35
end

Dear MatzeKs,

i tried but no luck, IP Phone unable to reach Avaya CM, I check from CM, i can ping PC for same port connected to IP Phone and PC seems Firewall policy is good for data and voice vlans.
