Need Global Mac filter configuration for 8600

one of our customer needs to enable global mac filter in ers 8600. what is the command and how to implement

Hi nashim and welcome to the forums!

You originally placed this post in the "Help Wanted" board which is reserved for folks looking for paid support or advice. I'm guessing that wasn't your intent so I move it to the Avaya Ethernet Routing & Switch board.

In answering your question,

config fdb fdb-filter add 00:01:02:03:04:05

The command above will not take if the MAC is already in the FDB so you need to disable the port connecting the device, flush the MAC/FDB table of that address and then add the filter.
