interesting Feature (limitation) with the VSP7000
« on: December 08, 2013, 10:34:04 PM »
came across an interesting issue with a VSP7000 last week.  Wonder if someone could confirm it for me.

-put in a static route for the management vlan.
-then try and change any of the IP info for the switch, stack, or OOB interface.

do you get a prompt that you need to toggle IP ROUTING to make any changes to the mgmt IP.
Seems kind of weird you would have to do that?  especially if you are running in an IST cluster and you need to disable the IST before you can turn off IP ROUTING.
