Bug with ADAC and MLT uplink port
« on: September 09, 2014, 07:11:02 AM »
Hello,

After some search on similar topics on the web, I didn't find explanation about this problem: after configuring an MLT link on a ERS 4550 and ADAC for our Alcatel Phones, all is OK. The two ports in MLT are placed into the defined ADAC voice vlan, and phones work like a charm. Yes, but after a reboot of the switch, only one of the two ports member of the MLT is still in the voice-vlan, and the phones don't work anymore...

Thanks in advance.

Did you apply ADAC uplink-port before or after you built your MLT?  It has to be done after your MLT is built.  Check your MLT status, and I'd bet it is down.

Thank you Tankll for your response, but the MLT is well and truly active and was created before the configuration of ADAC, by the way !
After a reboot, just the port which is visible as ADAC uplink port via web interface management is placed into the ADAC voice-vlan. Then, via telnet, I do "no adac enable" followed by "adac enable", then all the members of the MLT are properly placed into the ADAC voice VLAN.
I suspect than just on load of configuration after the boot, ADAC is activated BEFORE the configuration of MLT...

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in my response. Our software version for all switches is 5.7.0.009.
