Brouter port to Cisco subinterface
« on: March 29, 2016, 11:46:42 PM »
Good evening all,

Has anyone ever tried connecting a 4850 brouter port and using it as a routed port to a cisco router on a sub interface? I'd feel that's the only way I could do it. We are replacing our remote site 2911/2960x combo with an ERS 4850 w/ Advanced License. Copper is our handoff and we are running on a Metro-E circuit back to the headend.

Hi OfWolfAndMan,

the actual code v5.9.x support "brouter port" on the ERS-4800, therefore you can play with your preferred way to connect your equipment.

good luck
