Break the telnet session
« on: May 24, 2016, 10:33:30 AM »
I can't find it in Internet: How can I disabe the active TELNET session, that I created on some ERS to reach the other switch per TELNET?

I wanted f.e. restart the remote SW via TELNET connection from my ERS, but I don't want to wait a couple of minutes, till my TELNET session times out. Do you know what I mean? CTRL+C doesn't work. ESC, CTRL+Y too. On Cisco SWes I use always CTRL+SHIFT+6, then X

Hi mixthoor.

Did you try CTRL + ] ? That supposed to work on the ERS 8600, but I'm not sure about the other ERS switches.
