AVAYA ERS 8800 with Pelco IPCCTV network
« on: March 30, 2014, 05:09:28 PM »
Hi Friends,

I am using 2 ERS 8800 core switches with SMLT & MLT with 4800 series access switches. but when i switch on redundant core switch, some cameras goes offline and streaming on video monitor switched off.

In my configuration, there is not much parameters involved, only SMLT and MLT concept are configured for redundancy, Please suggest other important commands that needs to be configured for stable IP CCTV network with redundant core switches.

Thanks.

Regards
Sanjeev

I would check to make sure that all VLANs are on the both sides of the IST. and that all the VLANs are applied to both sides of the SMLTs and MLTs

as well, are the Cameras using, multicast or unicast?
