Avaya 5530 - VRRP Tracking
« on: June 21, 2014, 10:30:00 AM »
Hello guys

i need to implement the tracking of an interface line-protocol in my VRRP group

the track will alter VRRP priorities automatically to the status of tracked objects such as interface or IP route states.

in Cisco L3 Switches is called "track", in avaya swithces theres any protocol that do de same thing?

I have our switched configured for Syslog at the debug level and get all sorts of alerts including VRRP changes.

Try that.

Note, we are using Plixer's Scrutinizer (licensed) and can dump unwanted messages.
We do have our VRRP messages send alerts to us since we should never see VRRP changes without a change control.
