8300 reboots automatically.Plz Help.

I have some ERS 8300s running 4.2.X.X version with Dram 128 Mb.8393 SF/CPU and 8348  modules.Sometimes they reboot automatically.Can anybody please tell the reason.Please find the logs below.Logs showing high CPU utilization.Is less Dram of 128 Mb a reason.

CPU was being fully loaded, 100% cpu usage.

Did you observe any loop or did you make any change to your network recently?

Just like others have stated, you may have a loop that ends up pushing the cpu to 100% and subsequently to reboot. I highly recommend setting CP-limit on your ports to drop ports that may generate such traffic, easier to block the offender than take down everyone. Don't set cp-limit on the IST-ports or core ports. To most other equipment (servers, TOR/BOR switches etc.) you ought to set it. If you run SMLT to other switches, use SLPP unless it's towards your core.
