but does anyone know if Avaya makes a 10Base-T RJ45 SPF+

Why are you looking at doing this?  That would make one expensive Gig copper port.

They do have the 10GBase-CX SFP+ interface cables in 3 m, 5 m, and 10 m lengths.  But the docs don't officialy list a RJ45 SFP+ module.

I did a little Google-ing and found no SPF+ interfaces supporting 10Gbase-T with an RJ-45 interface, only twinax "DAC" cables. Same with other vendors..

So I think at the moment you'll be pulling fiber if you want have 10Gb connections everywhere...

As I recall I was told there would not be a 10Gig copper SFP's with RJ-45 interfaces as the power requirements were too high.  That's why the CX SFP's exist as that's the best they can do with the power budget they have.

I just checked Transition Network's site, and they don't have any SFP+ Twisted-pair 10Gbit interfaces.

you may need a interface converter like this:
