100baseTX on VSP7000
« on: February 28, 2014, 04:01:03 AM »
We're trying to connect a 100 Mbit UTP ethernet link to one of our VSP7000 switches. However, the Avaya 1000baseT SFP module does not support 10 and 100 mbit speeds (both on paper and in practice). Does anybody know if the 7008XT MDA module (8x 10GbaseT) supports 10/100/1000 speeds? The documentation is virtually non-existent.

To the best of my knowledge, the ports on a 7008XT MDA module can't be turned down to 10/100/1000.

and I just looked at the Documents, it doesn't say. which leads me to believe that it can't.
