Dear ALL,
Has anyone tried using Microsoft Server 2008 NPS (Radius Server) to authenticate user (captive portal) through AD with Avaya WC8180? Is it workable? because I've been unsucessfully implement it. If anyone has any information or tried it before, do share it with me.....

I would think but have never tested, it should natively authenticate against a RADIUS Server without an Identity Engines.

In the document that mratner shared (pg 76) talks about the Radius Configuration

It might have to do with your return attributes (that is usually the key), might want to check some of the WC 8180 Docs to see if you can read about Radius Return Attributes...

Do your logs on your NPS Server show you anything?
