WING5 (Motorola) vs Summitdata (Datalogic)
« on: October 30, 2013, 05:48:06 PM »
Hi people!

I have RFS6000 and AP650 with WING 5.4.4
But Mobile Computers we use from Datalogic company, model Scorpio (2012)

I have big problem with reconect MU.
We use telnet session from MU to db.
I see RC 2,5,15,16,8

From events:
Client '00-17-23-xxxxxxxx' disassociated from wlan 'xxxxxx' radio 'AP05-ap650-xxxxx:R1': Administrator initiated (reason code:2)
%DOT11-6-CLIENT_DISASSOCIATED: Client '00-17-xxxxxxxxx' disassociated from wlan 'xxxxxxx' radio 'AP12-ap650-xxxxxx:R1': client initiated (reason code: 8 )

Sometimes see Reason Code 8: roam detected

Sometimes MU not make rouming and stay on one place but dropped connect! ???

Im change evrything!
(disable load balancing, disable firewalls, change type encryption, change Radio Band, disable basic bitrates, change DTIM from 2 to 10 etc)

Im connect with moto support, and get answer - "It's strange" :o

People, do you know something about "summit" adapters?

Hi,
you can try to change the driver version of "summit" adapters, I have got this kind of problem with cisco LAP, and updated to the latest.
BTW, which type of encryption are you using? If you are using 802.11X, enable fast roaming.
