Using WiNG 5 on RFS6000, I set up some tunneled WPA2 WLANs and I was surprised to find that I could access the controller via SSH from an associated wireless client.

How can I prevent management from wireless devices? (of course when I attempted this I needed the correct WPA PSK AND ALSO correct credentials for the controller, but the point is that I want the controller to refuse any SSH attempt from the wireless side - I don't want a hacker to even see the login prompt.)

I also did a port scan from my wireless client, and the AP/controller responded with over 800 open ports! Is this normal?

How can I tidy up my security?

Thank you
