Wing 5.8 flip to locally bridged
« on: July 30, 2019, 01:52:29 AM »
Hi all
Looking for a bit of advice regarding a flip from tunnelled to locally bridged. so the current setup is that the AP7532 are tunnelled to the RFS7K, there are two VLAN's 1 & 10 on the network, The RFS GE 1 is set as trunk port with vlan 1 & 10 available. In the AP config the physical port is set as a trunk port with the vlans allowed. then under the virtual adapters there are two one for Vlan1 and one for Vlan10.
the network switch ports where all the AP's connect are set as access ports currently, I need to change these to be trunk ports, then on the AP do the virtual adapters need to be removed on the AP config and the RFS ?
when the connection profile is changed from tunnelled to locally bridged ? or does it only need to happen on the AP profile ?
