Switching off Layer 2 adoption
« on: January 24, 2014, 06:25:07 AM »
Hi there,

I need to be able to switch off Layer2 adoption on an RFS6000 to force all ap's to use layer 3 only.  How can this be done.

Thanks in advance.

on the RFS (either profile or device override):
#no mint mlcp vlan
#com wr

Enjoy:)

Assuming that the layer2 adoption is switched off will AP's be adopted via layer3 if plugged directly into RFS6000.

Hi
I solve this with dissabling mint mlcp vlan on APs and let it enabled on RFS. Because default configuration on AP is with mint mlcp vlan and using vlan 1 (out wifi vlan is different) and it works fine.
