RFS6000 ok at main site - very slow over MPLS WAN
« on: May 07, 2015, 09:46:18 PM »
Hello,

Trying to troubleshoot some speed issues.

Have RFS6000 with AP650s and AP300s

Speed is good at main site where switches are, but at other sites (this one is for example is connect via 100MB mpls circuit) only get ~300Kbps back to main site.  Site being tested is using only AP650 and one of the N WLANs.

Wired machines have proper speed.  using iperf to test with.

Just checking if anyone has any ideas.  Thanks a lot.

Here's a copy of the config attached

Thanks a lot.

The only thing which stands out to me is that you should be using Level 2 MiNT links for connection over WAN

Change this:
controller host xxx pool 1 level 1
 controller host xxx2 pool 1 level 1

To this:
controller host xxx pool 1 level 2
 controller host xxx2 pool 1 level 2

I would also recommend creating a separate RF domain for the remote site.

Have you tested with only 1 SSID activated?
Is it possible to test with local mode?
