RFS6000 captive portal and dhcp issue
« on: August 08, 2013, 06:10:36 AM »
Hi,

on a rfs6000, i create a wireless lan as usual, with internal dhcp.
Until i enfore the captive portal on the wlan, i'm not able to obtain ip from rfs dhcp anymore.
It seems that i am missing something.
Can aynone give hints?

Regards.

Hmm
seems i need to select dhcp policy directly on the rfs device, selecting dhcp policy on the rfs profile appear to be not sufficient.
Now, the captive portal don't redirect me ...

Hi,
like i said in eariler post, dhcp is now owrking.
But i can't get redirection to portal page when connected to the guest ssid.

I follow point per point the Captive_Portal_Design_Guide_December_2012.
As it is a test vlan, i have no dns, so i try browsing an ip, but no redirection anyway.

Can someon can advertise me on how to realise it?

Many thanks.

Thanks for the response.

I answer a bit late, but my problem is already solved.
For the rfs6000, i must configure the dhcp policy on the device, and activate the captive portal and the rfs6000 profile.
All is working now.

Many thanks.

Regards.
