Title: Port forwarding?
Post by: abowen on February 15, 2017, 02:50:31 PM
Hello,

New to the RFS4000 and the site.  I'm trying to replace a consumer grade cable modem router and need port forwarding to reach devices connected to an RFS4000 which is doing source NAT.  It's not obvious to me if this device supports port forwarding.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Replying to myself - I found the answer by using an static nat rule applied to the outside interface of the RFS4000.  This was much simpler than I thought it'd be - I was over complicating what I wanted to do.
