Old School question - WS2000 Controller Daylight Savings?
« on: March 20, 2014, 12:12:16 AM »
Hi all,

This question is for those of you that have been around Symbol for a while and maybe still remember the WS2000 (or maybe you still have some in production!)

I have set my WS2000 to be an NTP client but I cannot find any option to enable/disable daylight savings adjustments. So the end result is that the clock is perfectly in sync, but out by 1 hour.

In the config, I only have one timezone available to choose from, there is no DST version of the same zone to choose from.

This incorrect time is also inherited by some types of MUs (e.g MC3090 running Win CE5) but other MUs seem to take care of their own clocks.

Can anyone help? Thanks
