Motorola captive portal files
« on: March 20, 2014, 11:52:31 AM »
Hello,

I have deleted the captive portal files that were stored on the controller (WING 5).
Can anyone please send me a copy?

Regards,
Petrut

Hi newdud,

I have created a new internal captive portal but when I connect to the SSID I am redirected to a page that says "404 - Not Found".
Do you have the captive portal webpages?

Thank you for your time,
Petrut

go to the device config mode (depends which server mode you have) you want to assign the policy and type:
use captive-portal server <Captive Portal policy name>
com wr
end

Sending you the CP pages wont help, as even if you copy them to RFS, it wouldnt work, as you dont have the policy mapped to any device, so HTTP GET requests wont be redirected.

Thank you, noobie. It worked like a charm.
Do you know if I can change the port for the captive portal (from 880 to 444)?
