Based on the WS5100 system reference guide (2007) “The maximum number of MUs that can associate to a radio is 64”

I thought it was 256 per WLAN, the AP's would have a contention ratio working down to what ever the MAX % is, We did a job where there were more 150 Mu's with 48 Ap's and it handled it well as not all units will be on the same AP, not sure the WS2000 will have the performance, the WS5100 is EOL ( last FW for them was 3.3.5.0.00-2R, Also depends on the AP's as well. :) If you don't have the units yet, look on ebay you can pick up the RFS7000 ( Licensed ) cheap enough, Or you get the new NX range.

I found the information about the 64 MUs per Access Port on WS5100 reference guide under "Editing AP Settings"
