AP6532/Wing V5.8.2 - Disable automatic change wifi Channel
« on: June 21, 2016, 07:33:25 AM »
Hi,

I have four times an AP6532, with all Wing v5.8.2 All need to have their unique channel, except two.
Working on 5GHz (2.4GHz is disabled).
Nr 1: Channel 108
Nr 2: Channel 100
Nr 3: Channel 104
Nr 4: Channel 108

However, after having this configured the channel changes because of the interference, normally this would be logic. However due to application development we required these 4 setups.

The channel will sometimes set back to 132 in stead of the configured one.

Unfortunate with all effort I'm not able to have these channels static and are changed automatically. Can someone help me in a way or where to look in order to have this working?

Well, your desired channels are DFS aware channels, they must change if a frequency hits that channel of an AP!  This is to avoid interference with weather-radar and military applications.

And there is no way to avoid it?

Not for these channels. This is a **legal** issue, not a technical issue.

You can easily set up a similar scheme, just using different (non-DFS) channels.
