Cluster with more than 2 RFS6000s ?
« on: August 05, 2014, 04:11:45 PM »
Heya,

I am having problems forming an RFS cluster with more than 2 RFS2000 controllers..

I can get it to work fine with two rfs controllers, but as soon as I add the 2nd member, all hell breaks loose.

Is the cluster feature broken?

Maybe you are used to Wing 4, where you can have many cluster members.
But in Wing 5, you can only have 2 controllers in a cluster.

Nope, since 5.6 you can :) then just upgrade to 5.6 :

Increased cluster
size of 6
Increases the maximum cluster size from 2 to 6 for purposes of license sharing,
AP load balancing between WLAN controllers. Assists WiNG 4 customers using
larger cluster sizes to migrate to WiNG 5. The configuration migration tool is
also enhanced to assist with migration. Supported on the RFS 4000, RFS 6000
and the RFS 7000 controllers.

Nice! What else is good in 5.6?
