Cluster RFS 4010 EVIS Role Config
« on: November 02, 2015, 08:55:15 AM »
Hello.

"To prevent network loops only one Wireless Controller can be designated as the EVIS to forward
tunneled VLAN traffic onto the wired network at a time. The Wireless Controllers are able to see each
other (in most cases) over the tunneled VLANs and the alternative Wireless Controller will not take the
EVIS role as long as it can see the first Wireless Controller over the tunneled VLAN(s)."

Where is configuring? Does anyone have a manual?

Let me explain what is involved in the issue. When both controllers are working in the Vlan which is tunneled to the controller starts missing packages. Loss of packets floating. When the work is only one master controller is no problem.

Problems arise with just vlan20. This network is set on standby controller (172.17.2.202). How do I set it on the active controller? (172.17.2.201).

On one of the RFS set 'mint dis +255' and on the other set 'mint dis -255'
