I have a Motorola AP-6511. 

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to update the firmware on this device.
The current firmware version is 5.4.0.0.

When using the GUI, I've entered the ip address and filename info for my FTP server but the Apply button always stays greyed out.

The same applies if I use a TFTP server.

Both FTP and TFTP servers work as I can use a client to connect to either.

Can anyone help?

Hi there,

this is a known bug of 5.4.0 release, update using CLI will work though:
upgrade ftp://user:pass@serverIP/xxxx.img

I attempted that through the CLI and got ...  illegal command or something to that effect for the command "upgrade".

I know what I did wrong the first time.

Wasn't in Priv Exec.
