Advertise System (or Host AP) Name
« on: August 16, 2016, 08:19:15 AM »
Hello,

Have 2x RFS7000 runnining in Active/Passive cluster, on WiNG 5.7

Can somebody advise where the option is to enable advertisement of the host AP name.   When I am performing a Wireless survey I would rather not have to compare and remember a bunch of MAC address.  It would be much easier to have them displayed as AP01, AP02 etc etc.

Thanks in advance   :D

Dave

If using the GUI you can set this on per-WLAN basis.

Configuration->WLANs->MyWLAN->Client Settings
