Title: SpeedTest Confusion
Post by: Jeremy on November 09, 2018, 12:33:13 AM
Just ran the speed test on Okla last night. But confused to see the metric "Jitter", i wasn't completely sure what it is about or what it has to do with my latency, PING or UP/DOWN speed.

Can anyone tell me abt it.

jitter relates to line quality, specifically how good the line is for VOIP/SIP/Video traffic.

Jitter is the variable delay between packets. Higher jitter value cause poor quality voip/sip, video call.
