cacti avaya MLT
« on: October 29, 2014, 06:56:37 AM »
hello all
i use cacti to monitor avaya equipment for the 4500 and 8000 series,
i have got problem to monitor the MLT to create a graph,
i have an xml export tamplate from an another cacti which work great (cacti_graph_template_nortel_mlt_traffic_bitsec.xml)
In the new cacti,  when i create a "new graph" for a host, with graph type : SNMP MLT Nortel interface statistic traffic,
there is an error :
ERROR: no Data Source associated. Check Template

if anyone has ever had the problem ? thank a lot    ;)

Hi calloh and welcome to the forums!

I'm not sure the ifIndex for the MLT returns the actual statistics of the interface. In the past I've had to graph the two physical ports and add them together to get a representation of the actual MLT.

What version of software are you running, this may also play a big role in what information the switch returns.

Good Luck!
