August 2011 - upgrade to CentOS 5.6 and PHP 5.3
« on: August 27, 2011, 09:55:50 AM »
I'll be performing an upgrade of the CentOS Linux server on Saturday morning 8/27/11 at 10:00AM EDT. I'll be upgrading from CentOS 5.5 to 5.6 and I'll be upgrading from PHP 5.2 to 5.3.

The discussion forums and blog will both be offline at that time for approximately 60 minutes.

Cheers!

The upgrades have all been completed... I also took the opportunity to upgrade to SMF 2.0 (Final) which addressed a few security vulnerabilities in the SMF 2.0 RC4 release.

The only change users might notice is the re-introduction of ads for registered users.

Cheers!
