I found the ASUS VE276 27" LCD monitor on-sale from NewEgg over the past weekend and couldn't resist spending a few dollars on myself. It arrived today and it's really big... and while it only supports 1920x1080 resolution it's plenty for me.
I've actually noticed over the past few years that my eyes get tired (and my vision blurry) as I work in front of any display for long periods of time so not needing to squint at everything will be a huge plus for me personally.
Over the Christmas holidays I also received a Logitech C910 web camera so now my Skype video calls look really good.
