Unistim VPN Client not disconnecting properly
« on: June 08, 2011, 01:18:18 PM »
Hi all,

I have several 1140e phones connecting via VPN to a Contivity 2700 box at the office.  When the phone reboots, the session on the contivity stay on and never get dropped until they're manually logged off.  Is there a setting somewhere on the Contivity to drop these connections when the session is disconnected?

Thanks in advance

You need to enable Accept ISAKMP Initial Contact Payload within the IPSec group that you are using for the IPSec sessions.

This will allow the Nortel VPN Router (formerly Contivity) to tear down an existing session if it sees the same user ID trying to establish a new session.

Good Luck!
