IPSec Vs SSL VPN Tunnel
« on: September 17, 2009, 10:17:06 PM »
My ISP is blocking IPSec port so that subscribers cannot create VPN tunnels in order to travel Voice traffic between offices. How can i fix this problem without changing my ISP and using SSL VPN between the 2 sites.

I have Nortel BCM50e and BSR222 on far ends. How can I implement openVPN in order to create site to site SSLVPN tunnel.

I have public static IP at BCM50e's end and public Dynamic IP at BSR222 end.

Thanks

Hi Khurram,

I don't believe the BSR 222 or BCM 50e support SSL VPN tunnels. I believe they only support IPSec/IKE tunnels with various encryption strengths.

What ISP is filtering IPSec on you? I thought those days were long gone.

Cheers!

Trust me there are some still there and they do. Then I think I have to either buy that SSL capable equipment or wait till my Primary link will be up.
