cs1k config
« on: December 22, 2011, 04:21:59 PM »
I'm logged into 3 cs1k's (option 11) release 4. I'm dumping configuration records (I've never seen these boxes and i nees to troubleshoot an issue with CLID)

what load tells me the Cabinet(s) layouts? (I want to draw the voice and data network on my whiteboard)

i have M1 release 25 cd's and cs1k release 6 and 7 docs but not 4 (not that i think much has changed for this stuff, i just forget which ld i have to be in)

thanks again guys, i have to bookmark this site and hang out here more (it took me 30 mins to re-find this site - good thing i'm high tech and organized ;-}

looks like ld 22 cfn, sound right? this one system i would have thought would have been larger (like multiple cabinets, but i only see a few cards in the first cabinet)

I also dumped the rdb and am wondering what else i need, i'm not so interested in the user telephone sets, just wide area stuff, like tie's, esn, pri's, analogs, etc

Unfortunately we don't yet have an expert for core Communications Server 1000.

You'll probably find a better answer over at Tek-Tips; http://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=798

Good Luck!

the best program to use is orderpro,   this is what Sales Engineers use to gather all the information required for CS1000 switches for upgrades and migrations

you can get it on Avaya's website here

app37.avaya.com/OrderPro/

you will need to insert the https in front of that link,  Mike has the posting of links disabled, probably to cut down on spammers
