BCM400 4.0 to BCM450 upgrade

Hi;

I need to know about how to do the BCM400 4.0 to BCM450 6.0 upgrade it involves hardware and software upgrade the trays in the old BCM400 will be replaced with the new upgraded trays from Avaya. i am aware about the Hardware process but the my query is about the software side last time one of our customer opted for the same but while configuring / restoring the old data it failed and we had to mannually reprogram the entire system in BCM450 platform.

Pl. help how can we migrate the BCM400 4.0 configuration data to BCm450 6.0.

Hi,

Install the Data migration manager form AVAYA website
then install it and run it

enter the bcm 400 ip username and password
extract all data and save,

upgrade the bcm also make sure you have as many unified messaging licenses as well
