I2007 telephone can dialout and has incoming calls but nothing on display(blank)

can somebody helpme?, I2007 telephone user receive and dialout with no problem, but the dislpay in blank, when rebooted I can see the nortel logo and hear beep, them goes blank.

Let's assume the display actually works... perhaps the contrast was/is turned all the way down?

When the word 'Nortel' (not the graphic logo but the actual text) appears on the display try hitting the icon in the lower left hand corner (the icon of the two gear sockets) and select the 'Display Settings'. Then try to reset the contract and brightness levels.

After the Nortel logo the display goes blank, so i can not see no icons or nothing also, but I am able to dial out internal and external, incoming works too.
help please.
