Hi Henriux and welcome to the forums.

You're English is quite good, but let me just try to clarify a point or two. So the upgrade on the BCM 400 was successful, and now the IP phones are attempting to upgrade but are failing to upgrade? They restart and attempt to upgrade again? How long between the time they start to upgrade and then restart?

You also mention a 128Kbps leased line. Is this the speed of the link between the IP phones and the BCM 400?

BCM 400 <--> Router/Bridge <--- 128Kbps Leased Line ---> Router/Bridge <--> IP Phones

If this is the case I suspect the phones might be timing out because they are taking too long to complete the firmware upgrade. I would suggest you try unplugging all the IP phones and then only plug one in at a time, also try to make sure that nothing else is using the 128Kbps leased line while your upgrading the phone. If that works then just plug in the phones one at a time waiting for the phone to complete it's upgrade before moving on to the next phone.

Good Luck!

    tank you Michael,

      Well, the upgrade was successful and is correct,  the ip phones failing to upgrade and its restart wen attempt to upgrade ( loop). the time is more or less 10 seconds. 1-all ligths on, 2 - nortel logo, 3- display "waiting cfg data, 4 - display "firmware 0604DAX", 5 - Show ---->                                     <------, 6 - restart again. I take somes phones and conect it into the lan and the upgrade was succesfull. Naw there are only one phone trying to upgrade.
I,m going to leave only this phone in the link.

  thank for your help.

It sounds like the phones are stuck in the middle of an upgrade. When the actual upgrade starts the phone will reboot itself, starting some 'boot prom' code designed to facilitate the upgrade. If the phone is unable to contact the Signaling Server it won't be able to complete the upgrade. It will reboot again, still in the 'upgrade' mode. It will do this until I can contact the Signaling Server and complete the upgrade.

I've seen occasions when using DHCP Option 191, the phones are unable to communicate properly. I had to reconfigure the phone and network so there was no Voice VLAN, then the upgrade would complete and then I could reconfigure the phone for a Voice VLAN.

Good Luck!

 Hi Michael,
                   Hi Michael,
                 In fact, the problem was by lost signaling. I correcting the problem applying the correct QoS to warranty signaling bandwide (cs5).
   Thank you for al information.

   good look.
