Help. We have a facility full of Nortel 1120E and 1140 phones. This morning most of them were stuck at getting DHCP address. Ended up reloading the dhcp server, set the option 128 and even option 191. some phones came back online but some are still being stubborn.
The current sequence the phones are going through is
"waiting for cfg data"
"couldn't identify the switch"
"F/W Version 0624C4A Starting DHCP"
"Node 1111 Ok BKSpace Clear Cancl "
"Forwarding"
"Terminal Manager Connect"
then a blank screen...
The only difference we can find between the phones that work and that do not work is a difference in the ITG IP settings. The ones that work use x.x.x.5 and the ones that don't use x.x.x.11
I'm not sure where this setting is coming from or how to change it.. or if it's even really the issue. I'm at a loss..
