In general you would need to configure an MLT trunk of two or more ports on each end of the connection. Specific configuration directions vary between code versions, if you need more specific help beyond the general direction we need to know the code release.

Here's a quick example of how to configure an MLT between an ERS 4500 series switch and an ERS 8600 series switch.
Here are the commands for the ERS 4500 series switch;
# We'll tag all packets with 802.1Q headers making these ports trunks
vlan ports 47,48 tagging enable
# Let's create a new VLAN
vlan create 200 name "NEW_VLAN" type port
# Let's add ports 47,48 to VLAN 200
vlan members add 200 47,48
# Let's set the PVID for ports 47,48 to VLAN 200
vlan port 47,48 pvid 200
# Let's build the MLT group disabling Spanning Tree
mlt 1 disable
mlt 1 name "MLT_TRUNK"
mlt 1 learning disable
mlt 1 member 47,48
mlt 1 enable
I need to look up the CLI commands for the ERS 8600 switch. Hopefully I'll be able to post those sometime tomorrow night.
Cheers!

Here are some commands for the ERS 8600 (legacy Passport CLI interface);
config ethernet 2/29 perform-tagging enable
config ethernet 2/30 perform-tagging enable
config ethernet 2/29 enable-diffserv true
config ethernet 2/30 enable-diffserv true
config vlan 1 ports remove 2/29
config vlan 1 ports remove 2/30
config vlan 200 ports add 2/29
config vlan 200 ports add 2/30
config ethernet 2/29 default-vlan-id 200
config ethernet 2/30 default-vlan-id 200
config mlt 10 create
config mlt 10 add ports 2/29,2/30
config mlt 10 add vlan 200
show mlt info 10
The above uses ports 2/29 and 2/30 along with MLT ID 11 which obviously can all be dependent on your specific configuration.
Good Luck!
